Bruising and swelling are most pronounced in the first 1-3 days. Swelling starts to subside by the forth day, you may experience some discomfort during recovery, but it will not affect your vision.
You can begin washing your face immediately after surgery. However, for the non incision method, you should wait until the tape is removed before washing around the eyes. For the incision method, wait until stitches are removed before gently cleansing the eye area. We recommend starting with a gentle approach, avoiding any irritation around the eyes.
