Male Breast Reduction

RESTORE YOUR PRIDE, RECLAIM YOUR MASCULINITY

Gynecomastia (enlarged male breast tissue) is the development of excess breast tissue in men, often caused by hormonal changes, genetics, or certain medications. While it’s not harmful, it can affect how you feel about your appearance. At Kalo, the two types of male breast reduction are surgical mastectomy and liposuction-assisted mastectomy, helping you to regain confidence and achieve a more masculine chest with expert care.

FAQ

What is the possibility of a recurrence of Gynecomastia after surgery?

The surgical procedure for Gynecomastia at Kalo involves both liposuction and lacteal gland resection. Once the lacteal tissue is removed, it does not regenerate. Similarly, fat cells removed during liposuction are not likely to reappear. However, it is important to maintain a stable weight and healthy lifestyle to prevent any remaining fat cells from enlarging. Sudden weight gain or obesity could contribute to the growth of residual fat cells.

Exercise alone cannot resolve Gynecomastia, as it does not affect the lacteal tissue causing the condition. In the early stages, exercise may slightly reduce the appearance of Gynecomastia by reducing fat; however, the condition itself will not disappear without surgery. For an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, we recommend consulting with one of Kalo’s surgeons to determine the most appropriate course of action.
